The new Warwick Hall at Warwick School was officially opened on Friday 23 September.

This state of the art venue replaces the much loved but outgrown Guy Nelson Hall. Warwick Hall is now one of the largest and finest performance venues in the region, seating up to 1000 people. Costing £7.5m Warwick Hall was supported by a fund-raising campaign that raised over £1.1m.

The hall was opened by one of Britain’s leading theatre directors, Michael Attenborough CBE. He spoke of the importance of the Arts in schools and Warwick School being a genuine inspiration and a true ‘centre of excellence’.

Guy Nelson Hall - Warwick. Main entrance installation only was carried out by MCR Installations: Faceted glass is a cheaper option to having curved glass. As you can see these straight panels have been installed to the shape of the structure and give you the look of curved panels. This was finished off with a timber toprail.

Auditorium installation only: glass panels were installed to the gallary seating area as a edge protection for when the telescopic seat area underneath is retracted.

Additional stair installation only: The balustrade was boss fixed structural glass and finished with a timber toprail.
